Frequently asked
Questions about pricing.
What’s included?
Surveys, longitudinal studies, and focus groups and interviews — plus the segment builder, composition preview and the AI Advisor. There’s no plan to choose and no plan fee: you pay for each campaign, and the builder shows its price before you launch. Sponsored offers open after the beta.
What does each channel cost?
Surveys are billed per response. Faster and Fastest raise what members are paid for your survey, so it usually fills sooner. Focus groups are billed per confirmed seat, and longitudinal studies per response, per wave. You pay for every seat a participant confirms, including no-shows; seats nobody confirms are refunded. Whatever you target, participants are always paid at least $1.00 for a survey (or $0.30 per estimated minute, if that is more), $50 for a focus-group seat of up to 30 minutes (plus $1.33 for each minute beyond), and $2.50 per longitudinal wave. Sponsored offers aren't available during the beta.
Can I target the most responsive, most recently active people?
Yes, on surveys. These filters cost more — you are paying for a segment that answers rather than one that merely qualifies. Part of the extra goes to members as a bonus for responding reliably.
What about sensitive categories?
Targeting sensitive attributes (health, religion, identity) costs more. The audience also narrows, because only members who opted in to each specific sensitive category appear in the segment. See the data page for full details on how sensitive consent works.
Can I try the platform before paying?
Yes — there’s no plan fee, so an approved account costs nothing until you launch a campaign. You can also request a demo to explore a sandbox account with seeded data before applying for production access. Access during the design-partner phase is selective on use-case fit, not on willingness to pay. Design partners receive preferential terms, tailored to each partner. How is this different from data brokers and ad platforms?
Every Fairly profile is first-party and explicitly consented — people chose to share it. Purchases come from receipts and invoices members upload, read and checked before they count. No third-party brokers, no inferred lookalikes, no mystery sources. Pricing is per-use rather than per-seat-of-a-broker-platform.
Does what I spend affect the charity commitment?
No. The charity commitment is a separate calculation entirely: 15% of Fairly’s annual profit, computed once after the fiscal year closes, not a percentage carried on each campaign. Nothing you do as a buyer can raise or lower it. This is structural, not promotional.

Request access to start with a production account, or request a demo to explore the platform with seeded data first.
